Are We Limited by Human Perception?
1 Corinthians 13:12 says, “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.” This suggests that while we can seek God, our understanding is limited.
Could the Bible be God’s way of bridging that gap? If our human senses filter reality, does that mean divine truth is always greater than what we can fully grasp?
Jesus and the Ultimate Truth
Unlike us, Jesus fully understood God. In John 14:9, He says, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” But does this mean no one else can come close? The Bible mentions prophets and apostles with divine insight—can seeking God allow us to see fragments of that truth?
Predestination vs. Free Will: Are Our Choices Already Written?
The Bible presents an interesting paradox:
Ephesians 1:4-5 suggests we were chosen before creation.
Deuteronomy 30:19 tells us to choose life.
If God exists outside of time, does He see all choices at once? Are we truly choosing, or are we simply experiencing the story already written?
Does God Experience Life Through Us?
Some suggest that all of existence is God experiencing every aspect of Himself. Acts 17:28 states, “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” Does this mean life itself is God’s way of interacting with His creation?
However, Malachi 3:6 reminds us that “I the Lord do not change.” If God is unchanging, does He need to experience anything? Maybe life isn’t about God discovering Himself—but about us discovering Him.
Final Thoughts: Seeking Truth Without Fear
The Bible encourages us to seek, question, and deepen our faith. Even if we don’t have all the answers, perhaps the journey itself is the answer.
